Dov Kleiman revealed the news of Larry Benjamin’s passing on X, writing, “Heartbreaking: #Lions superfan Larry Benjamin passed away this morning in his sleep, his family announced.” RIP, 🙏💔.Due to COPD, Benjamin, who had been receiving hospital care for some time, passed away this morning. In a post on X, his son expressed gratitude to the supporters of the Lions during their playoff run. “To everyone who supported my dad’s blue-haired quest for the Lions Super Bowl, know that he is now at peace,” he wrote in his letter.
