Kova Jade Mayfield, the NFL quarterback’s first child, was welcomed into the world in April 2024 by her parents, Emily Wilkinson and the quarterback.
According to ESPN, Mayfield and Wilkinson were introduced by a mutual acquaintance and initially met in 2017. After barely six months of dating, the pair got engaged, and on July 6, 2019, they celebrated their wedding in style in California.
The career of the NFL quarterback has been somewhat eventful. After the Browns acquired Deshaun Watson to take over as starting quarterback, the former player, who was selected first overall by the organization in 2018, was moved to the Carolina Panthers in July 2022. Following an injury and a difficult start to the season with the Panthers, Mayfield was cut by the organization. The Los Angeles Rams promptly claimed him off waivers. These days, he is a player for the Tampa Bay Bucs.
