The Los Angeles Dodgers‘ fans might have taken their World Series win a little bit too far after a metro bus was set aflame in the city as people took to the streets to celebrate their triumph over the New York Yankees.
The incident took place near Sunset Boulevard and Echo Park, close to Dodger Stadium, at around 12:35, as videos of the incident were quickly posted to social media, where flames and fire can be seen raging out of control as smoke billows into the sky.
So far, it’s unclear if anyone was hurt but the Los Angeles Police Department are unimpressed, as they described the crowd as “hostile”, before reporting that looting also took place in the downtown region of the city.
Stores located near West 8th Street and Broadway were targeted by thieves, with brands such as Nike being targeted. A video online shows around a dozen people rushing away from the shop, with some heading into cars to get away.
