Fans praying for NASCAR legend  after he announces cancer battle…    Following his announcement that he is battling cancer, longtime crew chief and car owner Tommy Baldwin Jr. has garnered the prayers of the NASCAR community this week. Baldwin declared his struggle on Sunday. Baldwin has worked in NASCAR for 30 years, first as a crew chief for a Daytona 500 winner and then as a team owner. “I share news today that nobody ever wants to hear. It’s cancer, I say,” Baldwin wrote. Although it is curable, Tommy Baldwin Racing’s racing week will be the last one for some time. I’m going to take a break and start treatment to push it as hard as possible. He went on, “This is not a request for sympathy.” “I want everyone to know that you should see a doctor straight away if you don’t feel well. Take action now.
