Former Blue Jays manager Jimy Williams is dead at 80.
The Boston Red Sox, where Williams was also manager, reported that he died at AdventHealth North Pinellas Hospital in Tarpon Springs, Florida, after a brief illness. Williams lived in the nearby community of Palm Harbour. In 1980, Williams joined the Blue Jays as a third-base coach.
