Larry Benjamin, who has been a supporter for the longest period, was one such enthusiast. Not to mention the other fans, the Lions Superfan recently caught the interest of some really powerful individuals.

Dov Kleiman revealed the news of Larry Benjamin’s passing on X, writing, “Heartbreaking: #Lions superfan Larry Benjamin passed away this morning in his sleep, his family announced.” RIP, 🙏💔.Due to COPD, Benjamin, who had been receiving hospital care for some time, passed away this morning.

In a post on X, his son expressed gratitude to the supporters of the Lions during their playoff run. “To everyone who supported my dad’s blue-haired quest for the Lions Super Bowl, know that he is now at peace,” he wrote in his letter. Earlier this morning, he died while sleeping. @Amonra_Stbrown I appreciate all of your love.
