owner of the Kansas City Chiefs, Clark Hunt, has no intention of interviewing head coaches anytime soon.
On Sunday, Hunt stated that he does not anticipate Andy Reid retiring anytime soon.
As to the official transcript provided by the team, Hunt stated, “That has never come up in my interactions with Andy.” According to his response, I believe that after being posed the question, he didn’t stop to consider it. The idea then sort of took on a life of its own there for a few weeks, until Andy responded, ‘No, I’m not thinking about that.’ When I see Andy, he still has a lot of energy and excitement. His focus is solely on the Kansas City Chiefs and his goal of returning to the postseason and winning another Super Bowl. I believe he is as passionate and full of enthusiasm as he has been for the past ten or more years that he has been with us.”
