SAD NEWS: Hal Steinbrenner Owner Of New York Yankees is Gone…..

The SEC declared on Monday that the Florida Gators men’s basketball opponents for the 2024–2025 season have been revealed.

With Oklahoma and Texas coming from the Big 12, the conference will have 16 teams instead of just 14.

Out of the six teams playing at home, the Gators will host the Sooners and the Longhorns. It will be the first time in Oklahoma’s history that a state visits Florida, and it will be the first time Texas visits Gainesville since 1996.

Vanderbilt, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, and Missouri complete the group.

Florida’s opponents on the road are made up of six other clubs. Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Kentucky, Mississippi State, LSU, and Auburn are those.

Denver Parler, the SID for UF men’s basketball, said that although Kentucky is undoubtedly Florida’s strongest conference adversary, the Gators will only play them once this season, marking the first time since the 1963–1964 campaign.

The Gators’ conference opponents for home and home games include South Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee.

Georgia, under the direction of former UF head coach Mike White, has lost their last 11 games against the Gators and has not defeated Florida since the 2018–2019 season. Including an 85-80 triumph in the SEC Tournament, Florida defeated Georgia three times in the previous campaign.

Last year, the Gators faced Tennessee and South Carolina once apiece, losing both games. This will be the first time Florida plays the Vols more than once since the 2020–2021 season and the first time Florida plays the Gamecocks more than once since the 2017–2018 season.

Each match’s dates, times, and television information will be revealed later.
