Taylor is able to pursue his recruitment goals almost anywhere. He has received offers from influential people across the nation. He currently has scheduled official visits with three schools, but more will probably be added soon.

The college basketball transfer site team rankings have a new No. 1 at the top. Even though the window for new entries is closed, teams are still making significant moves in an attempt to assemble their rosters for the 2024–25 campaign.
With almost 1,900 players signing throughout the 45-day window, this record-breaking transfer cycle featured an abundance of elite quality.
Due to significant roster changes, certain teams are more compelled than others to recruit via the transfer site. The majority of teams that added a lot of players also saw a managerial change and a player exodus through the portal.
Before rosters for the 2024–25 season are finalized and the dust fully settles on a wild transfer window, a lot of movement is anticipated to occur as 17 transfer prospects from the top 100 rankings in this cycle remain uncommitted.

According to the most recent update, four of the five incoming transfers for head coach Chris Beard and the Rebels are ranked in the top 150. Dre Davis, a former small forward for Seton Hall who shoots 47% from the floor and has more than 1,100 career points, adds another seasoned presence for Ole Miss.

Missouri needs to make major squad changes before the 2024–25 season after going winless against SEC opponents and tying its lowest single-season win total of 8 in nearly 60 years.
Five four-star transfers have already committed to the Tigers, including veteran point guard Tony Perkins from Iowa and former Duke power player Mark Mitchell. In addition, third-year head coach Dennis Gates brought in a class of high school recruits ranked in the top 15, which may help Missouri turn things around following a disappointing campaign.

In 2024–2025, Penny Hardaway will be under much more pressure to advance at Memphis. Despite winning at least 20 games in each of his six seasons as head coach at his alma mater, the Tigers have not made it to the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 yet.
Tyrese Hunter, a former point guard for Texas, and PJ Haggerty, a former shooting guard for Tulsa, create a potent backcourt duo that might help Memphis step it up with a quality infusion from the transfer portal.
With 21.2 points per game this past season, Haggerty was the second-leading scorer in the American Athletic Conference.

The most noteworthy addition is former USC small forward Kobe Johnson, who chose to join the rival Bruins across town. Skyy Clark, a former Louisville standout who is the first of six transfer additions to UCLA since the cycle’s beginning, is another point guard on the way. In addition, the Bruins signed three large power forwards: William Kyle (South Dakota State), Eric Dailey (Oklahoma State), and Tyler Bilodeau (Oregon State).
8. The Wolverines of Michigan — 31.02

A top-10 transfer portal haul might help the Wolverines start a new era in Ann Arbor and achieve Dusty May’s goal of winning early at Michigan.
Two of the top big men in the NBA this cycle led to a surge of incoming transfers that helped Michigan make a significant push in the last two weeks.
Danny Wolf, a former Yale standout, was the first to sign on, and then Vladislav Goldin, a former 7-foot-1 center from Florida Atlantic, made the decision to follow May to Michigan.
Three transfers with high-major experience were also added by the Wolverines, including Auburn point guard Tre Donaldson and former Ohio State shooting shooter Roddy Gayle Jr.

Alabama’s hopes to make it to the Final Four for the first time in its history this past season were greatly aided by its performance in the transfer portal.
With four incoming transfers thus far, the Crimson Tide aim to replicate that formula of success going into the 2024–25 campaign. Former Rutgers big man Clifford Omoruyi is one of the top transfer centers of the cycle, and head coach Nate Oats and crew were able to sign him.
This past season, the 6-foot-11, 240-pound veteran averaged 10.4 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 2.9 blocks per game. He joins a transfer class from Alabama that already included three exceptional guards.
6. KAYHAWKS: 31.71

Prior to losing one of its commits, Kansas was ranked among the top 5 teams on the transfer portal. Riley Kugel, a former Florida guard, has decided to reopen his recruitment after receiving interest from other high-major colleges and will not play for the Jayhawks.
Three incoming transfers, including former Wisconsin standout AJ Storr, who is ranked as the cycle’s No. 4 overall transfer prospect, are still locked into positions in the Kansas backcourt.
Storr, a two-time transfer, led the Badgers in scoring this season with 16.8 points per contest. Ryan Griffen, a former sophomore at Alabama who shot 39.2% from three-point range and 45.4% from the field, averaged 11.2 points per game and was a major factor in the team’s run to the Final Four.
5. Kentucky Wildcats: 31.96 points

When the entry window ended last week, Kentucky was the most popular state on the transfer portal. As they assemble a roster, the Wildcats, led by new head coach Mark Pope, might welcome up to seven transfers.
Former All-American for McDonald’s Brandon Garrison leads Kentucky in scoring. Last season at Oklahoma State, the 6-foot-11, 245-pound big man showed promise as a true freshman.
Two more former Oklahoma players who rank in the top 50 are Lamont Butler Jr., a point guard from San Diego State, and Otega Oweh, a wing from Oklahoma. Lexington’s new chapter is off to a strong start, and there may yet be a huge addition to come.

For the 2024–2025 season, former Oklahoma State and East Carolina star Jordan Small will stay in the Big 12.The son of the new head coach in Morgantown, Tucker DeVries, the Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year, was one of the top early transfers that the Mountaineers signed right away.
With a potent incoming transfer class that is among the best in the Big 12, West Virginia might be positioning itself for early success in the new era.

Head coach Mike Woodson of Indiana has added some much-needed support ahead of the pivotal 2024–25 season. The significant signing for the Hoosiers was former Arizona big man Oumar Ballo, who is ranked as the second-best transfer portal prospect of the cycle.
However, all four of the incoming transfers are ranked within the top 150 players. Ballo gives the Hoosiers a tremendous presence inside, but the squad is strengthened by the arrival of three excellent guards.
Former Washington State combo guard and Pac-12 Freshman of the Year Myles Rice travels to Bloomington with fellow outstanding freshman and Stanford transfer Kanaan Carlyle.Indiana is still looking to add players to its roster.

Arkansas ascended to the top of the transfer portal team rankings rather quickly. Two of the four incoming transfers, Zvonimir Ivisic and Adou Thiero, are coming from Kentucky and will be joining new head coach John Calipari.
However, former Florida Atlantic standout guard Johnell Davis, who is ranked as the cycle’s third-best transfer overall, is undoubtedly the star of the Arkansas haul.
The Razorbacks still have a lot of work ahead of them to complete their roster for the 2024–25 campaign, but additional assistance from elite transfers may be arriving shortly.
