The Saints originally drafted Peat, who turned 30 in November, out of Stanford with the No. 13 overall choice in the 2015 NFL Draft.

Peat has started 102 of his 111 career games. Peat played left guard for the most of his career (4,090 snaps), and he was a three-time Pro Bowl participant from 2018 to 20.

But in 2023, he mostly played left tackle (715 plays), while he has also occasionally played right tackle. Peat received a 60.2 PFF rating the previous year, which allowed for 30 pressures in addition to two sacks.

While general manager Tom Telesco used two of his first three picks on the offensive line, selecting former Oregon offensive tackle Jackson Powers-Johnson at No. 44 overall and Maryland’s Delmar Glaze at No. 77 overall, the Raiders failed to select a quarterback in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Vegas has now included Peat in the mix. Given that Kolton Miller plays left tackle for the Raiders, Peat may go inside or compete at right tackle.
