Molefi Ntseki, head coach of the Kaizer Chiefs, announced his departure due to…

Molefi Ntseki’s time as Kaizer Chiefs’ head coach came to an end amicably by mutual arrangement after a meeting on Monday morning. The parties decided that this was the best course of action given the current situation and the recent string of poor results.

Interim first-team coach Cavin Johnson, who just joined the Chiefs as director of the Youth Development Academy, will assume the role. Dillon Sheppard, the current assistant coach, will continue to work under Johnson.

Arthur Zwane, the assistant coach, will take up his previous responsibilities within the club’s development structures.

In June 2021, Coach Ntseki joined the Chiefs as the Head of Technical and Youth Development. In June 2023, he was appointed head coach of the senior team.

“Coach Ntseki has made a significant contribution to the club since joining, both with the senior team and at the development level. I would want to congratulate him on that. Sporting Director Kaizer Motaung Jr. wished him luck in his future endeavors.

The retiring coach sent his appreciation to the Board of Directors and Chairman, Dr. Kaizer Motaung.
