Breaking News: Joel Glazer, Owner of Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Just Announced that Todd Bowles is no longer
The Glazers’ ownership has left many Manchester United supporters angry, and their recent antics at an NFL game may have exacerbated their dissatisfaction.
Following their victory on Sunday, Bryan, Joel, and Avram Glazer praised each and every player, coach, front office employee, and support staff member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ third straight victory left the Manchester United owners extremely impressed.
The owners of the NFL club, Bryan, Joel, and Avram Glazer, were present at Lambeau Field on Sunday to watch the 2021 Super Bowl winners defeat the Green Bay Packers 34-20. Following the game, the team’s players, coach, front desk, and support staff entered the locker room, and the three of them congratulated each other separately.
There were many happy faces as the Buccaneers improved to a 50% winning record this season and claimed the lead in the NFL South. Manchester United fans, who have been known to keep their distance and have heard increasing calls to sell the team for a number of years, may be incensed by the Glazers’ treatment of the Bucs.

Since Sir Alex Ferguson’s final season as manager in 2013, Old Trafford has not had any Premier League success under their ownership. After earning just four points from six games, they finished bottom of their group for just the second time in their history. They have not won the Champions League since 2008.
To make matters worse, they scored the fewest points in Champions League history while giving up the most goals of any Premier League team in any group stage of the competition—a total of 15. The amount of debt the Glazers have forced the team into is another grievance that the fans have with them. With their contentious takeover in 2005, United has accrued debt of more than £1 billion.
In addition, the American family has not made enough expenditures to upgrade training facilities and stadiums, as Cristiano Ronaldo hinted at in his contentious 2022 interview with Piers Morgan. Their absence from the directors’ box has left a bad taste in the mouths of some connected to the 20-time league winners, and they have been accused of not communicating with supporters and staff members on a regular basis.

Joel Glazer hasn’t been to a game at Old Trafford since United’s 1-0 loss to Barcelona in the 2019 Champions League quarterfinals. Avram Glazer attended the United men’s Carabao Cup and FA Cup finals as well as the women’s FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium last season. They frequently attend Buccaneers games. At Anfield, United managed to hold on for a point against Liverpool when the club from Florida was defeating the Packers.
The Reds were awful in the last third of the game and were unable to find the back of the net despite only having 34 shots to “The Red Devils’” eight. The red half of Manchester may benefit greatly from a draw against their biggest rivals after suffering a crushing 3-0 loss at home to Bournemouth the previous week.
After Arsenal’s 2-0 victory over Brighton, the Gunners have returned to the top of the Premier League. Erik Ten Hag’s team is the first to defeat Liverpool at home this season.
