TRAGIC NEWS: Orlando Pirates player Otladisa has declared his retirement due to
Sead Ramovic, the coach of TS Galaxy, responded angrily to former Orlando Pirates midfielder Xola Mlambo’s recent accusations of “cheating” against him and the team.
Mlambo said that for calling Ramovic a “cheater” during a football tennis match, he was fired by both the Rockets coach and the squad as a whole.
The 45-year-old coach Ramovic called the former Galaxy midfielder a “lazy” guy and expressed the belief that the player was blaming him for his lack of success.
“The person who said something against us talked more about himself and his character than about us and about me,” Ramovic remarked to iDiski Times.
Either way, I don’t understand those who are lazy. We do not speak the same language. I don’t understand them, and I don’t want to understand them. Indolent persons express themselves through the labor of others.
“He’s a very wonderful human being, but he needs to start growing up,” the man stated. “Mature people stop complaining and making excuses for why things can’t be done.”
“He must realize that all he has experienced in his soccer career is the result of decisions he made out of laziness.”
Following this verbal altercation, the former Bidvest Wits player was let go by the Mpumalanga-based team in October 2023.
Mlambo spent a season playing for the Rockets after signing. He made 25 appearances for the Ramovic-led team in all competitions before being let go, scoring one goal.
In order to play in the PSL this coming season, the 32-year-old athlete is still looking for a new team to join.
On Friday night, TS Galaxy and Moroka Swallows will play a league game at Lucas Moripe Stadium.
