For the USA Jaguars in 2023, Kiser started all 13 games. He finished with 68 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, and 2.5 sacks. After transferring from junior college, the Oklahoma native participated in 38 games over three seasons at South Alabama.
The 6-foot-223-pound Kiser might be quite useful at the next level because of his success on special teams while at South Alabama. At Jaguars Pro Day in March, he set a record with a mark of 4.52 seconds for the 40-yard sprint.
After this past weekend’s draft, Kiser becomes the third former South Alabama player to accept a free-agent NFL contract, following tight end Lincoln Sefcik (New York Jets) and quarterback Carter Bradley (Las Vegas Raiders).
Additionally, invitations to rookie try-out camps were extended to linebacker Quentin Wilfawn (Indianapolis Colts), defensive end Jamie Sheriff (Seattle Seahawks), and running back La’Damian Webb (Miami Dolphins).
